About Me

I am a high school history teacher.  I’m also a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.  In order to honor my ancestors, I’m a member of the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War and the Sons of the American Revolution.  I retired as a police officer in 2001 after nearly 26 years of service.  The Second Amendment is very important to me as it is to all Americans.  An unarmed citizenry is one that is subject to tyranny.  I view the U.S. Constitution as a document that restricts, not the rights of the citizens, but the power of the government.  I revere all the veterans of the wars of this country.  They preserve our freedom.
